SELF INFLICTED - On Stage: 5.00pm
Female fronted Rock Metal Band By the start of 2007, Self Inflicted had become an established act on the local circuit, performing every weekend at venues all over the South East of England. After initially continuing as a four piece, Steve Wallace, joined the band and the new line up immediately began writing and perfecting their music, as well as landing some high profile gigs supporting Irish rock band The Answer, and, at the 1st Summer Explosion Festival in Hertfordshire, Self Inflicted performed to over 1000 people. Following further changes, the band recruited James Marinos (Keyboards/Backing Vocals) and Mike Lewin (Bass) from Hertfordshire doom metallers Wake Of Myetsa. and as a result, it bought with them a complete overhaul of the Self Inflicted sound. Completeing the line up are Heidi (vocals) and Steve Clark (drums). The annual Blues Jam is back again this May Day Bank Holiday, closing the Musical Mystery Tour in style. Bluessurgery welcomes back it's regular guests, as well as inviting new one's to join us too! Musicians will be invited to join the 'House Band' following an introductory set. Kicking off at 6.30pm House Band, Midnight Circus Jam Band, featuring Bob Sawyer on vocals and guitar, will get things rolling nicely and, including 'our' guests, will, hopefully, give us another packed evening (if last year is to go on) to see out another successful Musical Mystery Tour.
